  • What is free(dom) software?
Free software is a matter of liberty, not price: read this .

  • What is the input format for my spin systems?
The input format MUST BE with one spin system per line like this (the order does not matter):
H: chemical shifts values C: chemical shift values N: chemical shifts values

      Examples:
      H:7.64 C:62.5 N:110
      C:173.48 58.1 37.93
      N: H: C:173.48 58.1 37.93

The two last examples are equivalent.

  • How do i read the results?
Results are given with one prediction per line (spin systems are numbered), the amino acid types are ordered from the most probable to the less probable. The probability for each amino acid type is given in brackets. Only the amino acid types with a probability superior or equal to 0.01 are displayed.

      Example:
      3: T (0.43) S (0.34) V (0.07) I (0.05) Y (0.03) C (0.03) F (0.02) Q (0.01) R (0.01) H (0.01)

For the third spin system i provided, the chance to be a threonin is 43%
  • I have empty results, what does it mean?
Usually, empty results for some or all the spin systems you provided are arising when the experiments you chose do not fit the number and/or the type of chemical shifts you provided. This may be due to two reasons: 1) you made a mistake, please check that the number and the types of the chemical shifts you entered are "compatible" with the experiments you chose. 2) we made a mistake in our NMR experiments definitions, please drop us an email. We will check and make the changes if necessary.
